STABLES Restaurant is situated 1.2km outside STILBAAI before the bridge crossing the GOUKOU River. We host the event next to Stables.

TURN OFF from N2 between Albertinia & Riversdale (at the famous Stilbaai Boat). Follow R305 for 27km. Venue is on your LEFT before crossing the BRIDGE.

Are we flying or farming? Nope we’re mountain biking. You’ve got 12 hours to mountain bike as far as you want to. We start at 7 and end at 7 the same day…therefore the name; 727 .

You register yourself after each lap and start your new round. The 13km lap combines one climb, some sand (100m), single track, an easy downhill and a fast descent on the pavement towards Stilbaai.

You dodge the carpark at the Stilbaai Brugmark and turn left into Pauline Bohnen.

Round two starts when you exit the race village at Stables.

From 07H00 on the hour at the WINDPOMP Race Village Area. (Just next to the Stables Restaurant)

Option 1: The Clock-watchers. Hourly starts from 7h00, so pick any time of the day to join the fun and ride one or more laps. Make it back in an hour to be on time for the next hour’s start, or take a well deserved rest before the next start.

Option 2: The Legends. You can start your challenge at any time of the day, but if you want to show your grit to Stilbaai, be there at 7h00 to use
every minute of the 12 hours to complete as many laps as possible.

You BIKE one round, two rounds or more and even 12 rounds! You can relay, do a team ride, whatever makes your bike keep going! Every cyclist pay her of
his R100 though. No helmet and no bike no … no ride!

Cyclists got 60 minutes to complete every round.

We start on the hour every round in the race village.

When you arrive early you rest till the next hour starts… arrival after the hour implies you sign in on the logbook, take your drink and start your next lap!

Youth (Sub Juniors) (13 – 14yrs) (M/F) R100.00

Juniors (15 – 18yrs) (M/F) R100.00

Elite (19 – 29yrs) (M/F) R200.00

Vets (30 – 49yrs) (M/F) R200.00

Masters (50yrs +) (M/F) R200.00

The Legends – Continuous Laps without stopping R300

ALL the Category winners (most rounds or longest ride covered in the shortest time) can expect gifts from Ciovita.

Please note: All under 7 B’s will need a legal guardian to register and accept the inherent risks of MTB events. The Sti/baai Cycling Club endeavours to take all possible precautions and keep all riders safe, but the event is on the sidewalk of open public roads and through a Nature Reserve and farmlands. An adult should accompany children under 74 if they choose to ride the main loop, but this choice is the responsibility of the child’s guardians.

• The Clock-watchers, start your loops precisely on the hour between 7h00 and 19h00. You won’t be allowed to start a lap at any other time.
• The Legends, start your loops anytime between 7h00 and 19h00.
• Every rider must log their laps manually by signing out before they start and signing back in after each lap.
• Only laps completed in full before exactly 19h00 will count, so plan your last lap carefully. If you finish a lap at 19h01, it won’t count as
  an official lap.
• There is no time limit on individual laps, so take your time or be a racing snake.
• Rest as long as you like in between laps.

Entree fee R50 for all under 12’s and R100 for all above 12 to 18 and R200 all above 18  as on 30 December of the same year.

Late entries are on race day the 28th of December 2024 from 06H00 at the  OK FOODS WATERPOINT IN RACE VILLAGE
